Shingle Street Summer

Shingle Street is situated just south of the better known village of Orford and as the name suggests there is an abundance of shingle. The stones on the beach seem to be all the same size and stretch off into the distance for as far as the eye can see. The area is a designated SSSI site due to the rare flora that can be found growing amongst the shingle on the wind-swept beach.
